On Christmas morning, Muse will find two wrapped packages at the foot of her tree. In one is a backpack filled with art supplies, a book about butterflies and a magnifying glass so that she can look at them close up and draw them. A gold necklace with a butterfly shaped pendant that says "best friends forever". This one is marked To Muse: Merry Christmas, Love Frostie
In the other smaller one marked To Carl, From Frost, there's A Teddy bear sized blue sweater with a white snowflake.
Muse wakes up slowly. It's been a hard couple of days, mean ole Fleshie Number Two just wouldn't stop askin' for stuff and since it was Happy Christmas time and she's still tryin' to be friends with him, she tried her best to make him happy. She yawns, stretches and rubs her eyes. She climbs outta bed, holding Carl tight and wanders into the room for living in then stops in her tracks and blinks when she sees that there's pretty presents under the little tree she imaginated up!
She rushes over and falls to her knees 'fore the tree. After settin' Carl down next to her she reaches over and grabs the littlest box first. She sniffles as she sets it on her lap and traces the edges of it with her fingertips. It's so full of beauties! She stops lookin' it over when she spots a card 'ttached to the top. She takes care not to rip up the pretty paper as she eases the card off and brings it up close to her face so she can see what it says. She furrows her brows as she starts soundin' out the words.
"T-to... Car-el!" She giggles and looks over at the bear. "This says it's for you! Hold on lemme see what else it says 'fore you get too 'cited." She clears her throat and starts tryin' to read 'gain. "Fur-um..." She gasps and almost drops the pretty box as she reads who got Carl a present! "Frostie!! Oh Carl! See I told you Frostie was the best fleshie ever!"
Since Carl's too 'prised to open his present she does it for him. She squeals once she gets it open and pulls out what's inside. It's a little bitty sweater so Carl doesn't get cold! And with a snow flakey on it too! She grabs up the bear and puts his new clothes on him. She holds him up and almost beams as she looks him over.
"You look soooo handsome!" She draws him back and snuggles with him for a few minutes before settin' him back down and grabbin' the other present. Muse takes the bow off and sticks it on the top of her head before lookin' for a card. When she finds it, she grabs it and starts tryin' to read 'gain.
"Toooo M-m-mewse! Hey that's me!" She giggles as she looks over at Carl. "See it's not for you silly! And it's from... Frostie!!" She pauses and literally beams. "And it even says love, see!" She holds the card out to the bear then lets him hold it so she can open her present.
Muse's eyes get big after she takes off all the paper and opens it. It's a bag! But it's not an empty bag cause it's too heavy for that. She looks it over curiously for a little while, it's blue and full of beauties! She finds the zipper and she can feel her heart going boom-boom-boom inside as she unzips the bag. She peeks inside and squeals happily at what she sees!
She looks ever'thing over full of cares as she pulls things out and sets it on the other side of her-being. Colory pencils and papers and and a real book with butterflies on it! She pulls out a glass thinggy and furrows her brows as she looks it over.
"What's..." She gasps when she glances at Carl through the glass thing and he's big! She looks curiously at the glass thinggy then laughs when she thinks she's figured out what it is. "Heeeey, neat! This thing makes little things look lots bigger!"
Muse sets it down and finishes takin' ever'thing out. She's 'bout to set it 'side and play with her new toys when she hears somethin' jingling inside. Her eyes get so big she just knows they're gonna plop right out of her head and roll 'round when she looks inside and finds a very thin golden rope with a butterfly 'ttached. She pulls it out and cocks her head to the side as she watches it sparkle in the lights. She's about to start twirling it when she notices some words on the back of the 'fly. She holds it close to her face as she starts tryin' to read and starts snifflin' when she's finished! She sets it down full of cares and shoves all of her stuff 'cept that back into the bag. After figuring out how to wear the bag, she grabs up Carl and the sparklie butterfly and races out of her house and off to the Nexus Shore to find Frostie.
